YDN Internship Program
The Youth Diplomacy Network (YDN) Internship Program is a one-month opportunity for high school and university students to gain practical experience within a youth-led international affairs organization.
Interns will work across different departments and initiatives depending on YDN’s current needs. Rather than being assigned to one fixed department, interns will form a flexible support team and contribute to projects across sections.

The Politic High School Essay Competition is a summer writing competition organized by The Politic, Yale University’s premier undergraduate journal of politics and culture. The Politic invites high school students to engage in original, community-rooted investigative journalism, developing the research and writing skills central to responsible democratic participation.

YDN Leadership Forum 2026
An international webinar series hosted by the Youth Diplomacy Network, taking place between August and September 2026. It brings together leaders from civil society, academia, international affairs, and professional sectors to engage in meaningful conversations on leadership, global challenges, and cross-sector impact.
Through moderated discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, participants gain direct insight into diverse leadership journeys and perspectives, while engaging with ideas shaping today’s world. The forum is designed to connect young people with global voices and create an accessible space for learning, dialogue, and inspiration.
