Building Your Journey: Politics, Passions, and University Pathways
- Benjamin Warner is a Finnish-British Finalist in Politics and International Relations at King’s College, the University of Cambridge. He has experience in journalism, the non-governmental organization sector, and at Gartner, and now serves as President of the King’s College Student Union, focusing on student spaces and ethical investment.
- This webinar featuring Benjamin Warner brought together members of the YDN community to engage with insights on leadership, initiative-building, and creating meaningful impact at a young age. Through discussion and audience interaction, participants explored how youth can translate ideas into action and build initiatives that create lasting change.

Global Politics Essay Competition 2026
Encouraging critical thinking on global challenges
The Global Politics Essay Competition invited students worldwide to explore pressing international issues through research, analysis, and written argument. The initiative created a platform for young voices to contribute perspectives on contemporary political and policy challenges.

Youth Diplomats in Action
The YDN Winter Summit ‘Youth Diplomats in Action’ is a short, intensive program designed to immerse participants through research and a final presentation. The summit emphasized the skills essential to modern diplomacy: negotiation, adaptability, evidence-based reasoning, and clear communication. The final works were judged by a series of YDN team members as well as Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, lawyer, author, advocate, and urbanist.
